The City of Columbia Water Utility has announced a new water rate structure in response to significant increases in expenses over the past few years. This measure aims to cover rising costs related to disinfection chemicals, personnel, and debt from the sale of the 2018 water bond.

Customers can estimate their future water utility bills using the City's interactive Water Bill Calculator. Detailed instructions on how to use this tool are available in the Water Bill Calculator Manual. Additionally, customers can log in to MyUtilityBill.CoMo.gov for historical water usage data.

The new rates will see residential customers' base charges increase from $12 to $12.48 monthly. The commercial customer base charge will vary depending on the size of their water meter. Further information regarding all residential and commercial customer rate structures is accessible on the Utility Rates web page.

For any queries or further details, customers are encouraged to contact the City Manager’s Office at 701 E. Broadway or via phone at 573-874-CITY (2489).
