Columbia seeks applicants for boards and commissions

The City of Columbia is inviting residents to apply for vacancies on various boards, commissions, and task forces. This initiative allows community members to engage with local government and represent their peers. The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m.

Applications and details about current vacancies can be found on the city's official website, CoMo.gov. For additional information, residents may call 573.874.7208.

City Source, a monthly newsletter distributed to all City of Columbia utility customers and available at City Hall free of charge, contains this announcement among other updates. It is produced by the Creative Services and Marketing and Engagement and Public Communication divisions.

Public Health and Human Services Director Stephanie Browning will retire from her position with the city on Oct. 11.
