On July 8, 2025, Senator Schmitt addressed the judiciary's influence over federal governance by proposing that "Congress also has an important role to play. Here's how Congress can solve this problem: 1. Restrict the ability of a single district judge to issue injunctions against the federal government." This statement highlights his view on limiting judicial power over federal decisions.

The following day, July 9, 2025, Schmitt announced the benefits of what he termed as "The One Big Beautiful Bill." He described it as "a win for hardworking Missourians!" The bill includes significant tax cuts and provisions aimed at expanding Medicaid services for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, it supports parental rights and promotes school choice.
