U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt has expressed his approval following the Senate's confirmation of Zachary Bluestone as a judge for the Eastern District of Missouri. Bluestone, who previously served as Deputy Solicitor General under Schmitt during his time as Missouri’s Attorney General, was commended by Schmitt for his experience and dedication.
"Zachary Bluestone is a highly experienced attorney of the highest moral and intellectual fiber – a lawman through and through," said Senator Schmitt. He further acknowledged Bluestone's commitment to the Constitution and the rule of law observed during their time working together in Missouri.
Senator Schmitt also extended gratitude to President Trump for nominating Bluestone, as well as to his Senate colleagues for supporting this judicial appointment. This marks the third judicial confirmation for the Eastern District of Missouri with which Senator Schmitt has been involved.
