Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted several local and national events through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On August 15, 2025, Alford commented on a recent military operation involving Missouri-based pilots, writing: "What a show of force from @POTUS! And once again, B-2 Spirit pilots out of Missouri’s own @Whiteman_AFB are at the center of it all."
Later that day, he shared an update from the Missouri State Fair: "Hanging with @scottfaughn at the Missouri State Fair! Check out our convo on @thisweekinmopol " The post referred to a conversation with Scott Faughn and promoted an appearance on "This Week in Missouri Politics."
On August 16, 2025, Alford addressed support for veterans in his district by announcing: "Putting Veterans First: VFW Post 4107 has officially regained its tax-exempt status as of Wednesday, August 1, 2025, allowing it to continue its mission of serving those who’ve served us! Alford has represented Missouri's 4th District since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin (1988).
