Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently posted a series of statements on his official social media account addressing topics ranging from international conflict to public safety and religious reflection.

On August 16, 2025, Alford expressed concerns regarding the ongoing war involving Russia and called for continued pressure from the U.S. president: "We've got to make sure that Putin does NOT win this war. This aggression cannot continue. Keep putting on the pressure, President Trump!"

Later that day, he announced the release of a new episode of what appears to be a recurring update or podcast, listing several topics under discussion: "E30 is live! DC CRIME: HOW TRUMP IS MAKING THE CAPITAL SAFE AGAIN EPSTEIN FILES: WHAT’S THE LATEST AND WHAT’S OUR POSITION? TOWN HALL TOUR DATES & TIMES OUR ANNUAL SOP MEETING SPEECH!" The post suggests an emphasis on crime in Washington D.C., updates regarding high-profile investigations, and information about upcoming events.

On August 17, 2025, Alford turned to religious themes in his communication with constituents: "Jesus isn’t talking about destruction here…He’s talking about passion, transformation, and the consuming fire of God’s love. His mission was urgent, costly, and unstoppable. He longed for hearts to know the truth of the Gospel."

Alford has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler as representative for Missouri's 4th district. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
