As the 2025 Missouri Tigers football season approaches, Mizzou Athletics has announced new game day procedures to address ongoing construction at Memorial Stadium and the expectation of full crowds throughout the season. The home opener, "Kickoff in CoMo," is scheduled for Thursday, August 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Due to stadium renovations as part of the Memorial Stadium Centennial Project, all entry gates will open two hours before kickoff—an increase from the previous 90-minute window. This change is intended to help manage anticipated congestion caused by both construction and large attendance numbers.

The north concourse and Gate 1 have been removed as part of the construction project. Fans are advised that this will likely result in increased crowding at remaining entrances and on concourses inside the stadium. All construction activity on game days will cease before gates open but will continue within designated areas during other times.

Travelers should plan for possible delays because roadwork in Boone County along I-70 between mile markers 137 and 144, as well as on U.S. Route 63 at I-70, may affect traffic flow near campus. Parking lots for the home opener will open at 2 p.m., while lots for subsequent games will be available starting at 7 a.m. RV parking at Truman's Landing opens at 5 p.m. one day prior to each game. Season-long parking passes are sold out; additional information about parking options can be found here. The PS7 lot will not be available during the home opener due to regular campus activities.

Rideshare drop-off and pick-up services have moved to Lot R, with a MO-X shuttle providing transportation from there to Memorial Stadium after fans cross Research Park Drive.

All tickets for Mizzou Athletics events are digital; attendees are encouraged to download their tickets and parking passes before arriving on campus. More details about digital ticketing can be accessed here.

The clear bag policy remains in effect for all events held at Memorial Stadium. Entry points have changed: fans seated on the east side (Sections 101-110), students in student sections, and those in Tiger Deck (Sections 301-315) should use Gates 2E-6E; west side ticket holders (Sections 116-125) should enter through Gates 2W-6W; premium entrances remain unchanged.

Pedestrian access under Stadium Boulevard via tunnel remains available but may be restricted due to narrower walkways around construction zones.

Mizzou Athletics has introduced several upgrades aimed at improving fan experience this season:

"New custom designed LED stadium lights allowing for choreographed light shows set to music or used in between quarters or after big plays

A new Tiger Fan Zone, opening three-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff each game day, which is available free for all fans on the lawn on Tiger Avenue across from Tiger Avenue Parking Structure just north of the traffic circle and features:

A large-screen TV showing games from around the country

Food trucks and seating

Beer sales

Tiger Team Store merchandise sales

MU Health Care Kids Zone featuring a video game truck playing EA Sports College Football 26

Coca-Cola Student Tailgate

Enhanced and increased pyro at key moments on game day

A new camera placement inside the locker room to get the crowd excited for the team runout

A re-worked in-game script designed to help keep up the energy even during breaks in play

Six concessions locations at Memorial Stadium featuring Fan-Friendly pricing, consisting of $2.99 hot dogs, popcorn, chips, 16 oz fountain sodas and 12 oz Dasani water
