Rep. Mark Alford, who has represented Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared updates on social media about border security initiatives and constituent outreach.

On August 21, 2025, Alford expressed support for President Biden’s border policies, referencing a recent development involving South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and former President Trump’s border wall strategy. In his post, he stated: " @POTUS promised to secure our border, and he’s delivering. @KristiNoem just revealed a bold new layer of Trump’s border wall strategy that will keep America SAFE and SOVEREIGN. Strong borders = strong nation. "

Later the same day, Alford announced upcoming events in his district as part of his Town Hall Tour ’25. He wrote: "It’s #AlmostFriday and almost Town Hall Tour ’25 time! Excited to hit the road and talk to you all in MO-04 next week. See you soon!" (August 21, 2025).

He also highlighted constituent services provided by his office with another post: "Another week, another successful case from our amazing MO-04 casework team. Need help with a federal agency? Call our office or visit https://t.co/AGsw4gpFOp today!" (August 21, 2025).

Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler as representative for Missouri's 4th District in 2023 and has been active in communicating with constituents through both legislative efforts and public outreach initiatives.

He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago.

Alford earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
