Rep. Mark Alford, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, posted a series of updates on his social media account between August 22 and August 23, 2025. The posts included announcements about upcoming events in his district and commentary on national political topics.

On August 22, Alford shared a post without accompanying text: https://t.co/tvWdRhKUu9.

Later that day, he invited constituents to join him at multiple stops across the district, writing on August 22: "See you SOON! Join us at one of our 15 stops next week as we hit the road in MO-04. https://t.co/pxLgAl12eB".

On August 23, Alford commented on recent political developments and highlighted the actions of public officials, stating: "E31, LIVE:

Crime in D.C. is finally slowing down thanks to President Trump’s crackdown.

Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler as representative for Missouri’s 4th district in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988.
