Mizzou Arena will introduce a new courtside seating arrangement for the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons, following approval from SEC Athletics Directors to allow schools to expand courtside seating.

The updated layout includes splitting the scorer's table into three sections, with two sets of four sideline seats added near each team's bench. Baseline seats will be installed on both sides of each basket, and a second "Tiger Row" will be placed along the sideline opposite the benches. The band known as "Mini Mizzou" will move to a more prominent location above the visiting team tunnel. The student section will now span the entire width behind one basket in an effort to enhance game atmosphere.

"We're thrilled to bring our fans even closer to the court," said University of Missouri Director of Athletics Laird Veatch. "Between the new courtside seating, the prominent and elevated placement of Mini Mizzou and our passionate student section creating energy behind the basket, Mizzou Arena is going to feel more alive and intimidating than ever."

Fans interested in learning about courtside seating options can fill out an online form or contact the Mizzou Athletics Fund by phone or email.

Tickets for Friday's men's basketball exhibition game are available for $10 online. The women's basketball team will host Maryville in an exhibition game on Tuesday, October 28, which is free for fans. The regular season for women's basketball begins Monday, November 3 against Central Arkansas, while men's basketball opens at home on Friday, November 7 against Southeast Missouri.

Further ticket details for the upcoming season are available at MUTigers.com.
