The Aug. 18 COVID-19 data update includes 50,177 positive cases recorded in Boone County since the beginning of the pandemic. A total of 44 positive tests were recorded on Aug. 16. Please note that this data is preliminary and subject to change as new information becomes available.
There are 29 COVID-19 patients in our local hospitals. Of those, 1 patient is in the ICU and there are 0 on a ventilator.
