Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, posted several messages on November 11, 2025, highlighting issues ranging from veterans’ recognition to healthcare reform.

In a post commemorating the service of Vietnam War soldiers, Alford wrote on November 11: "The soldiers of MACV-SOG conducted some of the most dangerous missions of the Vietnam War and set the standard for modern special operations forces. Let's get these heroes the long-overdue recognition they deserve!"

Later that day, he addressed concerns about the state of American healthcare following the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (commonly known as Obamacare). On November 11, Alford stated: "Obamacare broke our healthcare system — and Americans are paying the price. Premiums are up, choices are down, and subsidies are going straight to insurance companies. It’s time to fix this through REGULAR ORDER and return power to the people — not Washington."

On Veterans Day itself, Alford described his team’s participation in local events honoring military service members. He posted on November 11: "On this Veterans Day, our team was honored to spend the morning celebrating and thanking those who have served our great nation. Jake and Becky from our team visited several events across Cass County — from the Hy-Vee Veterans Day Breakfast and the Belton Veterans Day Parade to"

Alford has represented Missouri's 4th District since replacing Vicky Hartzler in Congress in 2023. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, he graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
