Rep. Mark Alford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, recently shared updates on social media regarding local accomplishments and national security concerns.
On November 13, 2025, Alford highlighted Jane Moyer’s selection as an interior designer for the White House Christmas transformation, noting her connection to Missouri: "Lamar, Missouri to the White House! Jane Moyer was chosen to be an interior designer who will help transform the historic house for Christmas. 'My husband served in the military and I wanted to fulfill what I could do with my talents to serve the people this way.'"

In a subsequent post on November 13, Alford raised concerns about foreign land acquisitions near Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri’s 4th district: " CCP-linked companies buying land ONE MILE from. MO-04’s Whiteman Air Force Base — home to America’s elite B-2 and soon to be B-21 stealth bombers. I’ve demanded a classified briefing from @USTreasury. Our adversaries are buying influence right under our noses. America’s"
Whiteman Air Force Base is known for hosting advanced military aircraft such as the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber and is expected to receive the new B-21 bomber in coming years.
Mark Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler in Congress and has represented Missouri's 4th District since 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988.
