University of Missouri divers achieved strong results at the Georgia Tech Diving Invitational in Atlanta, reaching the podium in five out of six events and winning two over the three-day competition.
On the first day, Collier Dyer secured first place in men's 3-meter diving with a score of 428.80. Tanner Braunton followed in second with 392.20 points. In women's 1-meter diving, senior Gabriela San Juan Carmona reached the finals and finished fourth with a score of 277.65.
During the second day, four Missouri women advanced to the finals in 3-meter diving. Mia Henninger earned third place with a score of 291.95, followed by Megan Jolly in fourth (289.85), San Juan Carmona in fifth (288.05), and Jazzelle Eikermann Gregorchuk in sixth (282.30). In men's 1-meter diving, Braunton finished third with a score of 362.80 while Dyer placed fourth at 351.80.
The final day saw two more podium finishes for Missouri in platform diving events. Braunton won the men's platform event with a final score of 399.90, and Eikermann Gregorchuk took second place in women's platform diving with a performance scoring 289.85 points. Tommaso Zannella placed fourth (339.40) and Dyer seventh (319.75) on men's platform, while Henninger was fourth (242.30), San Juan Carmona fifth (231.85), Jolly eighth (212.40), and Olivia Liddle twelfth among women.
Both swimming and diving teams will next compete at the Mizzou Invite from November 20-22 at Mizzou Aquatic Center, with prelims starting at 9:30 a.m., finals at 5:30 p.m., and streaming available on SEC Network+. Admission is free and open to the public.
