U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri has introduced President Trump's rescissions package in the Senate. The initiative aims to address what is perceived as excessive government spending.
Senator Schmitt stated, "Since Day one of the Trump Administration, President Trump has been committed to rooting out the waste, fraud and abuse in government, uncovering billions of dollars of unnecessary spending. I am honored to lead the effort in the Senate to take the budget approved under Joe Biden and better align it with President Trump’s agenda."
