The University of Missouri men's golf team started play at The Clerico tournament on Monday, finishing the first two rounds in 12th place. The event features a competitive field with eight teams ranked among the top 50 nationally.
Sophomore Trent Mierl led Missouri with a score of seven over par, posting rounds of 73 and 74 on the par-70 course. Freshman Reese Roberts followed with a total of nine over par after shooting 74 and 75.
The third round is scheduled to begin Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m.
